Mitchell and DOE need your help.

Isn't my BFF a Handsome Soldier?
**UPDATE: DOE has begun her travels, but we still are a long way from our goal. Please pass this around and forward to anyone who loves our soldiers. Thanks to all who have donated so far. It really is impressive how quickly things can come to fruition when we all band together. Let's keep it moving. God Bless - March 13, 2011

Life was difficult for me until I met my Soldier. I was an abandoned puppy in Afghanistan when Mitchell took me in and gave me shelter and love. He keeps me fed and clean, and I sit by the door waiting anxiously on his daily return so we can hang out. Even though he comes in from a hard day's work, he always gives me the attention I crave. We play tug of war, then I run in circles aimlessly, and he always keeps my belly full. I try my best to keep him warm at night, but in actuality it is his love that keeps me warm. I have only known Mitchell for 3 months, and I cannot imagine my life without him. I dream of our future endeavors and I get absolutely giddy with anticipation. We were meant to be together, but we need some serious help from all our friends in America so we can be.

What we need from you...
My soldier has said it will cost $2500.00 in order to let me become an American citizen. We only have about 6 weeks to raise the money and a Paypal fundraising account has been set up for this process. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Click the DONATE tab  on the right side of this page, and spread the word through all the social networks.
Thanks for supporting a Soldier's love for his dog. Sincerely, DOE

  3. I met Shiela, through Shalon, at a family reunion in Redding, 2010. Meeting your family was all I need to know that this is a worthy cause. God's speed in bringing you and DOE home safely. John, MSGt, US Air Force (retired)
